Weather updates, school district

As snow continues to dust only certain areas in Douglas County, Sedalia has accumulated approximately 12 inches as of 10 a.m. The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Douglas County until 6 p.m., Oct. 29.
For further inquires into the next 24 hours for Douglas County School District weather-related closures, there is a new weather hotline, 303-387-SNOW (7669). Weather-related school closures can take place throughout the entire district or by area. Information regarding school closures may also be obtained through the district's web site at www.dcsdk12.org. This information is updated by 5 a.m.
