Man’s body found in alley

Englewood police continue investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a man found in the alley near Lincoln and Oxford about 6 a.m. June 24.
On June 25, the Arapahoe County corner conducted an autopsy on man who appeared to be about 50 years old. The police report stated the paramedics found wounds on the victim’s head and legs. But so far, the victim has not been identified and no information has been released about the cause of death
A cyclist found the body about 6:10 a.m. June 24. Reportedly the man wasn’t moving so the cyclist called 911 for assistance.
Police arrived and closed off the area and when paramedics checked the man, they found he wasn’t breathing and he had no pulse.
The man was taken to Swedish Medical Center and pronounced dead at 6:21 a.m.
Englewood police will only say the investigation is continuing.
